Darke joins Thackley AFC following a year out of the game following a serious injury, and is still in the process of returning from that injury. Darke will continue that rehabilitation with the Dennyboys and will provide competition to Luke Wilson in the Thackley AFC goal.

Darke has also been recruited following Callum Bradbury, last season's Reserve Team goalkeeper / Number 2 First Team goalkeeper, informing the Club that he intends to pursue other opportunities to seek more game time and has therefore left the Club. Bradbury departs with our thanks and best wishes. Darke will therefore provide welcome backup for the specialist goalkeeping position.

Darke has previously been at Silsden AFC in 2019 where he worked under our current Joint Manager Danny Forrest, and prior to there had played in the Bradford City Youth Team. He is sure to be another good addition to the Thackley AFC squad.
