Renovated in the summer of 2020, the Thackley AFC Clubhouse has gone from strength to strength and has become the go to venue in Thackley and surrounding areas for private event hire.

Since the relaunch, Thackley AFC have hosted weddings, birthday parties, engagement parties, christenings, naming ceremonies, gender reveals, funerals, corporate events and more.

Due to the success, we are delighted to announce that the Thackley AFC Clubhouse will now be relaunched as Arthur's, in appreciation of Arthur Hylton.

Arthur was one of the founder members and player of the club back in 1930 and acted as secretary for thirty five years, relinquishing the role in 1970. Arthur help develop the club from a Sunday School side through the league systems to playing in the Yorkshire League in 1967. During his time as secretary the club won the County Amateur League five times and the West Riding Challenge Cup twice. They also won the Bradford and District Cup on numerous occasions during his tenure.

In 2019, the Thackley AFC Clubhouse was renamed The Hylton Clubhouse, and therefore it was only fitting that the bar be relaunched as Arthur's .
