As the NCEL Premier Division season draws to a close, everyone at Thackley AFC reflects on what has been one of the most challenging campaigns in the club’s recent history.

Following the loss of our Manager and the entire playing squad prior to the start of the season, the task facing Jamie Price and his staff was immense. Building a competitive team from scratch, under such difficult circumstances, required resilience, commitment, and unwavering belief.

To have navigated those challenges and retained our place in the NCEL Premier Division is a tremendous achievement. Jamie, his backroom team, and every player who has represented the club this season deserve enormous credit for their hard work, determination, and professionalism throughout.

We would also like to place on record our sincere thanks to our supporters and sponsors. Your continued backing, both home and away, has played a vital role in helping the club through this transitional period.
