Thackley AFC today announced the double signing of both defender Ben Bodle from Eccleshill United and central midfielder Nathan Woodward from Golcar United, adding further depth to the Thackley AFC squad.

Joint Manager Danny Forrest had the following to say on the arrival of the new recruits:

Ben [Bodle] is a left sided defender with pace and quality. He will bring balance to the team and offer a threat going forward too. He is a player I have admired for a long time and Tom and I are really looking forward to working with him. He has loads of experience for this level and knows what it is like to be competing at the top end of the league which is valuable to us.

Nathan [Woodward] is a centre midfielder who will bring something different to the team. He enjoys the ball, and has a strong physical presence. With Harry Parsons set for a spell on the sidelines it was important we added some depth in the squad and Nathan certainly adds quality too.
