Following the news yesterday of Jamie Price being appointed the new Manager of Thackley AFC, we are delighted to confirm an initial batch of pre-season fixtures for the Dennyboys.

First up, we will face Selby Town (Away) on Tuesday 1 July 2025 (7.45pm KO) at the The Fairfax Plant Hire Stadium. "The Robins" finished last season in 8th position in the NCEL Division One league.

Next up on Saturday 5 July 2025 (3pm KO) we welcome South Liverpool to the Meridian Stadium at Dennyfield. The North West Counties Football League Premier Division club will be the first home match for Jamie Price's team, and will be quickly followed on Saturday 12 July 2025 (3pm KO) with another "South" team, as we welcome South Leeds to the home of the Dennboys. South Leeds this season are led by Craig Oglivie and are looking to build on a solid first season in the NCEL Division One with a 9th placed finish.

Finally, "the Baht'atters" of Ilkley Town will visit the Meridian Stadium at Dennyfield on Tuesday 15 July (7.45pm KO). Ilkley Town had a successful season in the NCEL Division One after their lateral move and finished in the play-off positions, narrowly suffering defeat in their semi-final fixture against Wombwell Town who would go on to win in the final.
