Thackley AFC Women delivered a dominant home performance against Sherburn, controlling the match from the first whistle to the last. Their pressure and composure in possession created chances throughout, and Ahmed gave Thackley a deserved lead in the first half with a well‑taken finish.
The second half continued in the same fashion, with Thackley firmly in control. White doubled the advantage shortly after the restart, before Sadiq added a third with a confident strike. Blythe rounded off the scoring as her corner headed for goal was helped along into the net.
